Dr. Bob Ballard, one of our keynote speakers at the 2013 Science and Mathematics Symposium, was the leader of the team that explored the underwater shipwreck of the Titanic.
Dr. Bob
Ballard is currently a Professor of Oceanography, teaching at the University of
Rhode Island. His topic will involve his extensive research on the Titanic,
general deep sea exploration, and the use of telepresence.
